It's been a long tiring day, yet I find trouble in falling asleep at night. I wonder about your absence in my dreams, Ron. I wonder what have you been up to and why have you been away?
I'm lying here and thinking about 'Looking Within' yourself and finding true meaning in life.
I feel it's no good for someone to tell you to forgive your pain when you cannot even forgive yourself.
When you feel anger and hatred for someone, it is often a projection of the anger and hatred you have for yourself.
Only when you have compassion for your own failings, you will find yourself more tolerant of the failings of others.
Hence, that which you cannot forgive in another, you cannot forgive in yourself.
I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I am undefined, I am just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned. Today is where my book begins. The rest is still unwritten.

Happiness is with you.
I haven't written in awhile, things have been so hectic at work. One task after another, leaving me very little room to breath. I'm gonna take it all in my stride. Another two months to go.
Today is another weekend of work, but managed to read for pleasure, which is something I haven't done for so long. Come across this chapter on Forgiving Yourself. I think everyone has a hard time trying to forgive themselves and moving on. I know I have.
Give yourself the gift of forgiveness.
Give up the vain hope that by holding on to a hurt you somehow might make the past better.
This moment is all you have.
You cannot change past moments.
When you let them go and happiness will return.
You will then be in a much more secure and contented frame of mind from which to find a way to forgive those who hurt you.
It's your choice to allow a different attitude to develop.
Happiness is with you.
Laurence Sterne once said "Only the brave know how to forgive. A coward never forgive; it is not in his nature".
Today being the celebration of Easter, I ask myself am I brave enough to forgive?
